Enraptured ©

My love, my feelings for you, grows stronger every day,
As I struggle to relate just what my heart does try to say.
So I write to you these poems, a poor attempt to explain,
The ramblings of a madman who love has drove insane.
For to me you are true beauty all rolled up in one,
The sweetest and most lovely, second to none.
Venus and Cleopatra are but shadows on the wall,
For you are by far the fairest of them all.
I call you just to hear your sweetest voice my girl,
The most enchanting sound there can be in all the world.
So soft and sweet and lovely, I adore every breath,
I harbor every word as I grow more amouress.
When you giggle I feel myself rise-up off the ground,
Then you laugh and I fly as my heart begins to pound.
You sigh, so low and soft, and I melt back down to earth,
Then again you breathe in deep and I feel my rebirth.
I sit there silently entranced by your hypnotic sounds,
Enraptured in the pleasure of the joy that I have found.

Another Poem written to my ex.

The Redheaded Stranger

So easy to talk to, it's like we're old friends,
I wait for each day to see her again.
She always the high light that cheers up my day,
Makes me smile and laugh, like a child who's at play.
A beautiful face, like nothing I’ve seen,
I'm mesmerized with those eyes of green.
How so small a picture can stir me inside,
But that wonderful image is burned in my mind.
I can only imagine the beauty she holds.
Her soft creamy skin and that long slender nose.
But I must try to refrain from the feelings I keep,
For she's somebody else’s and the price is too steep.
So I will be content with her as a friend,
And cherish each moment that we have to spend.
But I'll envy another more fortunate guy,
Who holds a treasure more than money can buy.

Labyrinth ©

Why do you want something you, when you know you can’t have it?
The less probable the price, the grander the allurement.
When old you wish you’re younger, when young you wish you’re old.
It’s a never ending cycle and the answer is untold.
Like a child chasing a ball, that your parents let you pick.
Just as you reach your prize, you’ll give the ball a kick.
We’re all trapped in the circle, the labyrinth of reality.
Always wanting more and more, the things we cannot keep.
But for all that we struggle, and for all that we strive,
The prizes we most value are the ones that we’re deprived.

Blanketed in Kisses ©

My love I’d lay there in your arms, for hours so content.
Run my fingers though your hair, inhale you fragrant scent.
Just while away the time, in hopes it never ends,
Enjoying all the harmony of a blissful Zen.
Take comfort in the warmth of holding you so close,
Kiss your lips, your neck, your chin, the tip of your lovely nose.
To stroke a gentle finger along your breast, sublime,
Run my hand along your arm and take your hand in mine.
Then starting with your nape, I’ll kiss my way on down,
Your neck, your chest, your cleavage, admiring the crowns.
I’ll blanket you in kisses from your head down to your toes,
Your wondrous curves and corners, the pedals on the rose.
Just run my lips all over you, caressing every part,
Hold you close, gaze in your eyes as the realms of love we’ll chart.
Lastly I’ll lay a kiss on your fore head, wet with sweat.
Take your precious hand in mine, our fingers mingle yet.
Hold you in my arms once more, basking in the glow,
Of a woman of sheer beauty, like nothing I have known.

Written to my last GF,
It’s getting easier to see these again,
I even added the heart stamp I would put on each envelope.
